Follow these simple steps to set up your Trezor device and start your journey toward secure crypto management.

1. Unbox and Connect Your Device

• Unpack your Trezor hardware wallet.
• Connect it to your computer or mobile device using the provided cable.
• Ensure you’re using a trusted, secure computer.

2. Install Trezor Suite

• Download and install Trezor Suite — the official app for managing your crypto securely.
• Available for Windows, MacOS, Linux, and Web.

⚠️ Always download software from official sources only!

3. Initialize Your Trezor

• Open Trezor Suite and select "Setup New Device".
• Follow the on-screen instructions to:
  • Install the latest firmware (if needed).
  • Create a new wallet or recover an existing one.

4. Backup Your Recovery Seed

• Write down your 24-word recovery seed on the provided Recovery Card.
• Never take a photo or store it digitally.
• Keep it offline and secure — this is your ultimate backup.

🔒 If you lose your device, your recovery seed is the only way to regain access to your assets.

5. Set Up a PIN

• Choose a strong PIN to add an extra layer of protection.
• You’ll enter this PIN every time you use your Trezor.

6. Start Using Your Wallet

• Add accounts for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and hundreds of other coins.
• Buy, sell, exchange, and manage crypto directly in Trezor Suite.
• Explore advanced features like Shamir Backup, Passphrases, and more!
